Today’s designers, however, create complex structures rarely covered in classic machining manuals.Irregular grooves on curved shells with 0.3mm corner radii, 0.8mm thin-walled knurled sleeves, and vague parts only clarified by rough hand sketches have become commonplace.

We once took on a challenging medical aluminum adapter that four manufacturers turned down. Featuring an irregular body, multi-angle threaded holes and a 13.5° inclined through-hole with no perpendicular mounting surfaces, the part posed huge fixturing and machining difficulties.
After three rounds of fixture optimization, we adopted a combined clamping solution and completed one-step forming via 5-axis simultaneous machining. Finished within 7 days, the part achieved qualified thread tolerance and a positioning deviation below 0.1mm, earning full recognition from the client.
