Low-pressure perfusion is to mix the two components of polyurethane materials, inject them into the rapid mold in the gastrointestinal and low-pressure environment, and form products through chemical and physical processes such as polymerization, cross-linking and fixed line of materials. It has the advantages of high efficiency, short production cycle and low cost. It is suitable for small batch trial production in the process of product development, as well as the production of small batch production, small batch production, simple structure of cover parts and large thick wall and uneven wall thickness products.
The principle of silica gel cladding and low pressure perfusion is similar. They both make a prototype through hand plate or physical object, and then make a silica gel mold through this prototype, and then make batch replication through this silica gel mold. The general domestic silica gel mold can only be copied more than ten times, while the service life of foreign silica gel mold is slightly longer. There are still differences between silicone cladding and low-pressure perfusion, mainly reflected in the following two aspects:
Object is different: 1. The role of silica gel complex mode is mainly used for small bulk copy small plastic planks (such as ABS, PC, acrylic panel, etc.), and low-pressure perfusion is used to copy large plastic panel, such as bumper planks, medical model and robot model, such as the volume of this kind of plank is big, not suitable for to do with silicone mold process.
2. The size of the silica gel mold is different: because the silica gel composite mold is used to make a small hand plate, the volume of the silica gel mold is relatively small. And the use of low pressure perfusion, because of the copy of the hand is relatively large. So when making silica gel molds, the volume of the mold is very large and relatively hard.
To sum up, the main difference between the silicone composite mold and low-pressure perfusion lies in the different volume of the copied hand plate and the size of the silica gel mold.
